How To Apply
Accepting applications starting on June 2nd, 2025 for the 13th cohort of the Massachusetts Institute for Community Health Leadership (MICHL) program, which will begin in September 2025 and run through May 2026.
This is an opportunity for emerging leaders in a variety of community-based health care settings in Massachusetts to participate in leadership development with a new cohort of professionals who are experiencing many of the same challenges, demands, and benefits of this work.
Application Requirements
Applications must be completed via the application portal, which will be open on June 2nd, 2025. It asks applicants to share about their role, organization, thoughts on leadership, experience with promoting racial equity, and more. A complete list of application questions is available.
Applicants are also asked to upload
- A current resume or CV (no more than 2 pages)
- Applicant Commitment Form (see below)
- Supervisor Recommendation Form (see below)
- CEO Recommendation Form (see below)
Costs
- $600 – Massachusetts Grassroots, Advocacy, and/or Community-Based Non-Profit Organizations
- $800 – Community Health Centers; Accountable Care Organizations; and Public Sector (city, local, and state government agencies or commissions)
$1,000 - Hospitals and Hospital Systems; Private Health Care Institutions; Health Plans; Academic Institutions; and other private sector entities.
The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation underwrites all other costs of this 18-session experiential development program.
