Connecting Consumers with Care provides grants to Massachusetts health centers and community-based organizations that assist low-income and vulnerable populations with accessing, maintaining, and navigating health insurance coverage. The maximum grant amount is $50,000 per year for up to two years for programmatic funding. The Foundation seeks to fund organizations with sophisticated knowledge of and the ability to assist clients with enrollment and navigation of publicly subsidized health insurance programs, including MassHealth, Connector programs, and the Health Safety Net.
Funded organizations continue to provide health insurance enrollment and outreach services during the pandemic. Through 2021, specific grant plans may be adjusted to meet the current health and safety guidelines to protect the wellbeing of clients, patients, and staff.
