There shall be an open enrollment period for eligible individuals and their dependents as defined in section 1 of chapter 176J of the General Laws. The open enrollment period shall begin on May 1, 2007 and end on July 31, 2007. No carrier shall impose a pre-existing condition provision or waiting period provision for any eligible individual who enrolls during the open enrollment period.
