This report models the potential impact of slower than projected health care cost growth on the Massachusetts economy. The study finds that reductions to the growth rate of health insurance premiums would create significant benefits for the labor market, leaving billions of dollars in the hands of both workers and employers that would otherwise be lost to rising health care costs.
